In releasing their new uniforms for the 2023–24 campaign, Tottenham Hotspur has confirmed the leaks that have surfaced over the last few months. This season’s main accent hue is gold, which was allegedly inspired by the gold cockerels perched atop White Hart Lane. The majority of Tottenham’s home uniform is white with blue shoulders and gold trim, while the team’s alternate uniforms are navy with gold trim. The third kits are primarily gold with navy accents and weren’t leaked.

This morning, the club announced the kit on Facebook and heavily publicized it there.

I had some reservations about the new kits’ excessive usage of the gold hue in earlier writings on them. However, most of my concerns have been allayed in a professional commercial shot with decent lighting. The gold here appears to be more like gold, as opposed to the muddy mustard yellow it appeared to be in the stolen photo.

The all-gold third kits have pleasantly surprised me in terms of how much I enjoy them. Particularly with the navy pinstripes on the front, they appear elegant. When Spurs travel to the Hawthornes to play West Brom, they will undoubtedly don those at least once. If I had to pick just one pair to purchase, I would go with the Spurples from the previous season..

I particularly enjoy how the players seem in the away and third outfits. Like most kits, I anticipate they will appear far better in person and on television than they do in pictures. The uniforms will be worn for the first time on the field on July 26 when Tottenham travels to Melbourne for International Champions Cup matches against Atletico Madrid and Juventus.
