Prior to the Bournemouth match, Chelsea suffered with a double injury scare as the Moises Caicedo theory takes hold.

A serious injury scare has been delivered to Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino ahead of this weekend’s match against Bournemouth. On Sunday afternoon, Andoni Iraola will greet the Blues at the Vitality Stadium as both teams try to get back to winning ways and move up the Premier League standings.

The Cherries will be trying to get their first three points of the season after Bryan Mbuemo saved a point for Brentford shortly before the international break, while Chelsea enter the match off a dismal loss to Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge.

Pochettino will be hopeful that his players return from international duty reasonably uninjured because a lot of big names are already in the hospital. However,

Malo Gusto and Moises Caicedo were spotted with strapped up right thighs, which suggests that they may be recovering from injuries, which is sad for the residents of west London.

Caicedo was spotted with what seemed to be some blue kinesiology tape wrapped around his knee. Kinesiology is a medical technique that helps with movement and muscles around a joint. In contrast, Gusto appeared to be wearing additional thick tape that wrapped his entire leg.
