Chelsea player for £110,000 per week. Mario Bittencourt

The club president says, “He will return,” and he is now ready to bring in a Chelsea player for £110,000 per week.

Mario Bittencourt, the president of Fluminense, is hoping to sign Thiago Silva when his contract with Chelsea expires.

At the conclusion of the current campaign, Thiago Silva’s current contract ends, and Bittencourt is hopeful for a homecoming.

The president of Fluminense said the following about the former player for his team: “It depends much more on him than on us, but he said that he will come home when his contract there expires. I’m hoping he returns. Silva has continued to be a key player for Chelsea thus far in the new season despite turning 39 this month.

All four of the Blues’ Premier League games to date have been started by the Brazilian.

 

 

Thiago Silva should potentially receive a new deal from Chelsea.

Some will believe that the central defender should leave Stamford Bridge next year because Silva isn’t getting any younger.

Mauricio Pochettino currently has Levi Colwill, Wesley Fofana, Benoit Badiashile, Axel Disasi, and Trevoh Chalobah at his disposal, so his departure would not leave Chelsea lacking in the defensive department either.

However, if Silva can maintain his current level of performance, should the Blues really let him go?

The Brazilian international has a ton of experience, and the Chelsea team as a whole is rather inexperienced. It doesn’t make much sense to fire their most seasoned professional, especially if his caliber is holding steady.
