Davante Adams clarifies Aaron Rodgers future in New York with ‘day-to-day’ message….

New York Jets wide receiver Davante Adams admitted that he and quarterback Aaron Rodgers have hardly discussed in-depth their uncertain futures in the Big Apple

Jets wide receiver Davante Adams asserted that he and Aaron Rodgers have yet to have an in-depth discussion regarding the quarterback’s plans for next season despite his murky future in New York.

At 3-8, the Jets actively find themselves in the basement of the AFC East – a standing they’ve grown accustomed to over the last decade-plus in which they’ve failed to reach the playoffs. Though New York still has six games left to play this season, many fans have already turned their attention to what’s panning out to be a pivotal offseason.

Among the burning questions that the Jets will need to answer in the coming months is what to do with Aaron Rodgers. The soon-to-be 41-year-old has borne little resemblance to the four-time MVP who achieved immense success with the Green Bay Packers, sparking rumors that his time in New York – or the NFL – may be coming to an end.

In a last-ditch effort to salvage the Rodgers experiment this season, New York traded a 2025 conditional third-round pick to the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for Adams – his favorite target in Green Bay. The acquisition has done little to change the Jets’ fortunes, however, as the team has won just one game since the star wideout’s arrival.

While making an appearance on Kay Adams’ ‘Up & Adams Show,’ Adams was asked if he’s spoken with Rodgers about his uncertain future with the Jets. “At this point, it’s really not something that gets brought up day-to-day because we both have a positive mindset and the way that we want to attack every week,” he replied

So if we get to talking about him being on a different team, me being on a different team, like that’s just not what we need in our heads right now. We got to put nothing but positive energy and thoughts out there and just keep working.
