Even if they had indicated a readiness to move the striker to Chelsea in the summer season, Juventus still wants Dusan Vlahovic to sign a new contract.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Old Lady is willing to extend Dusan Vlahovic’s contract by one year and increase his remuneration.
It follows reports in numerous publications, including The Guardian, that Juventus were willing to let him to join Chelsea in a trade that would have seen Romelu Lukaku move in the opposite direction.
The Blues did consider signing Vlahovic, according to The Guardian, but the 23-year-old chose to remain at the Allianz Stadium.
For around £67 million, Juventus acquired Vlahovic from Fiorentina in 2022.
Chelsea has let Dusan Vlahovic go.
It seems doubtful that Chelsea will return apotential deal for Vlahovic, especially if he does go on to sign this new contract at Juventus.
