Throughout the season, Liverpool has been grappling with a string of injuries, a challenge that persists even among players out on loan. Owen Beck, on loan at Dundee, is the latest casualty, set to return to Merseyside due to a groin issue that could keep him out until late April, as reported by The Courier. Dundee’s manager, Tony Docherty, disclosed that Beck faces a recovery period of four to six weeks under Liverpool’s supervision for top-notch care.

This marks Beck’s second return to Liverpool from Dundee this season, having been recalled in January due to a left-back injury crisis at Anfield. Despite this setback, his loan hasn’t been terminated, and there remains optimism that he can recuperate in time for the Scottish Premiership’s post-split matches. Beck, aged 21, had been enjoying a consistent run of appearances at Dens Park, a departure from his previous loan spells at Famalicao and Bolton.

With access to Liverpool’s elite medical facilities, Beck’s recovery process is anticipated to be hastened, enabling him to recommence contributing to Dundee’s campaign before the season’s conclusion.
