3 suspects for Jade Cargill’s attacker on SmackDown….

One of the major angles on SmackDown heading into Survivor Series War Games is the attack that Jade Cargill suffered at the hands of an unknown assailant. She’s been pulled from the Women’s War Games match and the tournament to crown the first Women’s United States Champion. Bianca Belair openly wondered who attacked Cargill during the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, and that is set to be an important question to answer when Cargill returns. But looking at the current women’s roster on the show, here are three women that stand out as potential suspects.

Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair has not been in a WWE ring since being defeated by Asuka on December 8, 2023. She suffered a knee injury that forced her to the sideline. Videos popped up early, showing her training hard to get back into the ring – but things have been silent in recent months. When she was healthy, Flair was one of the first women that Cargill confronted backstage, standing face-to-face with the new signee.

One story that could be told is of Flair attacking Cargill to kick off her first major feud upon her return. Charlotte Flair is a great worker in the ring and she could help lead Cargill through what would be some big matches for SmackDown.

Naomi

Naomi, Belair, and Cargill have been dubbed “The Big 3” since they started partnering and building an on-screen friendship. Yet, Naomi is consistently the third wheel in the eyes of some. She returned to WWE earlier this year and picked right back up as a featured woman on SmackDown. Yet, many want to see her push through the upper-midcard and become a title holder once again. Seeing her turn heel and go after Cargill would create some buzz behind Naomi and hopefully give her enough momentum that could push her to a championship at some point.

Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair versus Jade Cargill would be big business for WWE. Two women of their stature, appeal, and fan following would certainly garner attention. But think about the added wrinkle of the possibility that it was Belair who attacked Cargill. WWE has subtly (as best they can) pushed the idea that Belair and Cargill aren’t on the same page. That two megastars like them may not be able to coexist for a long time. Using that angle to kick off a battle between the two would make sense. Plus, it would be fun to see Belair go back to the heel character she initially played while a part of the WWE NXT roster.
